Becoming a teacher is something that I’ve been passionate about since the first day I stepped foot into my 1st grade classroom.

I was born and raised in Downers Grove and was a graduate of District 58. I recently graduated from Illinois State University in December 2020 with my professional educators license, earning a degree in bachelor of science in education grades 1-6. I also obtained my ESL endorsement. With 4+ years of classroom experience and the knowledge I have gained through remote learning, I feel confident in my ability to help all students. I know how stressful it has been for parents and students throughout the pandemic. We have had to adapt to these new circumstances with the ever-changing school year. Over the past 4 years, I have gained extensive knowledge teaching all subject areas to ages 4-12. My goal is to create lifelong learners and help them reach their goals both in and outside of school. I’m excited to begin this next journey with TutorOnUp and begin working with your child.
