B.S. Elementary Education & M.S. Teaching and Learning + ESL Endorsement
I knew that I wanted to be a teacher from as young as I can remember. As a little girl, I would play school with whoever and whatever – including my little sister, friends, and stuffed animals!
I graduated from Bradley University in 2016 with elementary and special education certifications. I taught 2nd grade for 3 years and then transitioned into the special education role at my same school. This is now my third year teaching special education. As a special education teacher, I have had the opportunity to work with students ranging from Kindergarten – 3rd grade. I love developing specialized learning plans for my students that target their individualized learning needs and deficits.
I am a lifelong learner and love being a student just as much as being a teacher! In August 2020, I graduated with my first masters degree in Teaching and Learning with an endorsement in ESL. I am currently pursuing my second masters in Educational Leadership. I am committed to continuing my own education to improve my practices so that I can provide the best education for all of my students. I look forward to working with your child!
