Megan Youngdahl B.S. Ed.
I have known that I wanted to become a teacher since third grade when I was inspired by my teacher. I started tutoring in high school and continued throughout college and student teaching. I have experience tutoring all ages and all subjects. My true passion is teaching math, but I love seeing student growth and achievement in all content areas. While tutoring, I tailor my instruction to each individual student which shows improvement in and out of the classroom.
I recently graduated from Eastern Illinois University in December 2019 with my degree in Middle Level Education. I am endorsed in English Language Arts and Mathematics for grades 5-8. My professional experience includes student teaching at Herrick Middle School in Downers Grove. I taught 7th grade English Language Arts and Mathematics. I work with students grades 5-8 in both math and reading. I have a passion for working with students at the middle school level.
