As the second oldest of five children, I’ve always loved being around kids—babysitting, playing school, and helping others learn came naturally to me. That early passion grew into a lifelong career in education and a deep belief that every student can find joy and confidence in learning when given the right support.

I grew up in the Naperville area and am proud to still call it home. After graduating from Naperville North High School, I earned both my Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education (with endorsements in English Language Arts, Social Studies, and English as a Second Language) and my Master’s degree in Curriculum & Instruction: Reading Teacher from Lewis University.
For the past ten years, I have taught in Joliet Public Schools, where I’ve worked with grades 6–8 in English Language Arts and, most recently, as a junior high Reading Interventionist. I also serve as an Adjunct Professor at the College of DuPage, helping adult learners prepare for their GED exams in reading, writing, social studies, and science.
I believe in helping students discover their interests, build their confidence, and develop the skills they need to reach their dreams. There’s nothing more rewarding than seeing a “light bulb moment” when a student grasps a new concept—or when their curiosity leads to meaningful, thought-provoking questions about life.
I’m excited to help your child unlock the power of learning. Let’s learn and grow together!
