I have been teaching for over 20 years and still love it! I love the challenges and creativity that teaching requires. But the best part of my job is the kids! I enjoy the relationships I create with my students and try to infuse my teaching with humor to put students at ease. I have taught kindergarten, first grade, third grade, and fourth grade. I also have experience as an ESL/bilingual teacher. In addition to being certified as an elementary education teacher, I have my Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction and a C.A.S. in Reading. My favorite subject to teach is math and reading is a close second.
Outside of school, I have 3 adult children and 2 dogs. My hobbies include reading, exercise, and going on walks with my dogs.
