In my 28 years of teaching elementary students, I have had the honor and privilege of fostering a love of learning in all sorts of learners. I am very familiar with Common Core State Standards and the expectations of schools today. I also have experience teaching students with various needs and skills. Every student is unique, so I always work towards finding how a student learns best so I can customize my instruction and teaching strategies to support and encourage successful learning and instill confidence.
I live in Downers Grove with my husband and two children. My daughter attends the University of Missouri and is hoping to be a school psychologist. My son attends Downers Grove North High School and loves playing football. I also have two very active and friendly dogs and a curious cat. We love to travel to warm and relaxing locations.
