Erin Slattery

Hi, my name is Erin Slattery and currently teaching in a 5th grade classroom. I will graduate with my bachelors degree in Elementary education along with an endorsement in ESL and Special Education. I have a love for working with children, seeing them grow and master their skills in new and creative ways.

I have experience working with children of all different ages. My experience includes working with students one on one, teaching in a classroom of 25+kids, and assisting students with e- learning while helping them adjust to a new learning style. Over the past few years, I have had the privilege to coach all ages in cheerleading and gymnastics.

Volunteering has been a passion of mine for the last ten years. I volunteered at Scott School Elementary and during my time there, I worked with students in small group settings and assisted them in improving their math and reading skills. I have volunteered in many different elementary schools and always enjoy watching the children learn and grow. It is especially fun to see their growth over multiple years.

I have always loved working with children and know that is what I am meant to do. I want to be able to help children find value and confidence in themselves when it comes to learning.Children should feel supported when learning new skills and lessons. I take pride in making sure that I help the child in any way possible and aid with creative, new and innovative ways of learning.
