Catherine Hazen B.S. Ed.
Ever since I was a little girl, I have always dreamed of growing up and becoming a teacher. Teaching has been such a rewarding career as I have watched my students grow and blossom as learners. Through my 12 years in this profession, I have learned that my teaching needs to adapt to the student and not the other way around. This adaptive ability is what allows me to be an efficient one on one teacher. During my time as a classroom teacher, I was able to contribute in creating the district curriculum. I attribute this opportunity to my ability to think outside the box and be creative with teaching methods.
My husband and I live in the Western Suburbs of Chicago and have been blessed with two amazing little girls and a fun loving chocolate lab. My teaching experience started right out of college in Gilbert, AZ and has transitioned to the Chicagoland area, where I grew up.
